As you may know, I have been praying for my family since I was baptized in Dec. 2003.
My grandmother has liver cancer in it's final phase. She first found out about it six years ago. As you see my grandmother, you will not believe her sickness in that she can be active like normal people.
I remember six years ago, the doctor had said that she only had one half year to live, by that time my grandmother tried hard to eat more healthy than ever before. She never gave up living despite little hope. For the first time last year, I invited my grandmother, mom, elder sister, and niece to a church healing activity. I saw them show an open mind to accept God, even though they didn't know who Jesus was. They tried to believe that God will heal them as long as they are willing to reach Him.
A few weeks ago, my mom asked me to fly to home earlier than my plan since the doctor said she only has two months to live. As I heard this news, I was really shocked and didn't think God would take her life before she knows Him. I keep praying with my boyfriend every night by phone.
Before coming to the US, I wanted to schedule time to let church friends come over to share the gospel with my family, but I never did. This time, I feel that I should persuade my family and grandmother to be wiling to accept their visit. Without God, I cannot do anything by myself. I told God that I would do the best I could, otherwise to soften my family's hard hearts and to solve other uncontrollable situations. Finally, my grandmother, mom and dad are willing to meet with my church friends. Wowwww...
How amazing Almighty God!
